It is reinforcing to hear your remarks about becoming a more disciplined trader by becoming a more disciplined person in every day life. I am currently looking at ineffective behaviors I have been repeating throughout my life and changing them. This has two great reinforcers: improving how I manage my life and becoming a better trader.

Also, you touched on another important element I am trying to understand. Emotions and trading. Your trading history is a little like mine and most likely many others. I stopped trading last fall and began to study day trading. I have paper traded for awhile now and am starting to see positive results. Well I finally took a live trade and allowed it turn into a small loss because I didn't see the signals I had become so familiar with. I was aware of how instantly nervous I had become while the trade was on. Guess that is called anxiety. Just like you said, my perception and judgement were overridden by my emotions. So will get those books you mentioned and study them carefully. Thank you for your guidance.
